The Dunlop logo above is designed as an arrow and is commonly known as the 'Flying D'.
Bendel designed the logo while working as a junior art director at Charles F. Higham Advertising in London, in 1959. It was launched internationally by Dunlop the following year. It can certainly be said to have survived the 'test of time' and is known all around the world.
